Tūāraki North Regional Championship 2025

50th Anniversary Rogaine Series - Event 6

6th Event: Owen Delany / Spa park - Sunday, 14th December 2025

• Registration:

- Online before Thursday, 11th December, 11:59pm

• Entry Fees:

- (includes 1 copy of the map)

- Individuals $7 for club members and $12 for non-members

- Teams (2 to 5 people) $12 for members and $17 for non-members

- On the day entries will be charged an extra $5

- Extra maps are $3 each for members and $6 for non-members

• Course options:

- F60: Foot Rogaine 60 minutes only

• Course Notes:

- Maps printed on paper only: Scale 1:7,000

- There will be 27 controls worth between 20 and 50 points each for a total of 900 points.

10 points per minute or part there of will be deducted after 60 minutes ie don’t be late finishing.

- This event will be using SI cards and electronic boxes so you will need an SI card.

If you don’t have one you can hire one for $5/person or team using the enterO system.

- Respect Out of Bounds areas, which are marked with vertical red or black lines, or olive green (private properties)

• Timing:

- 10.45am briefing and handout of maps
- 11.00am mass start. Newbies and later arrivals any time up to 11.30am
- (10 minutes are allowed for planning at least a part of your route prior to start)
- 12.15pm A picnic lunch, BBQ with lamb sausages, buns and sauce supplied. Bring your own salads etc.
- 1.00pm AGM starts
- 1.30pm AGM finishes

• What else to bring:

- Compass, marker pens, A4 plastic bag

• Safety:

- Read the safety and course notices on the board at the event centre

- EVERY competitor must check in at the finish and download their SIcard

- All roads are open. Take care with traffic

- Dial 111 for an emergency

- Ring the Planner (Number is on the Health & Safety notice displayed) if there are any issues

• Results:

- Will be on the Taupo Orienteering website and facebook page after the event.
